Highview are delighted to have been appointed by Morgan Sindall to support their Waltham Forest Planned Works Framework.

Our new client has entrusted us with pitched and flat roofing works, as well as structural and brickwork repairs, to multiple residential blocks and street properties in Walthamstow, East London. The first projects consisting of circa 2,500m2 mixture of Clay and concrete pitched roofing tiles, a 535m2 Langley flat roof (inclusive of removal of existing roof coverings), handrail installation and various rear additions.

We believe our successful delivery on this framework continues to promote our strong portfolio of completed works within the Residential sector.

Working as the Principal Contractor for a long-standing client, we have begun the refurbishment to circa 800m2 of inverted roof, atop of the prominent Central London commercial building – Golden Cross House.

As we replace the roof with a brand new Bauder system, we are working within a very narrow and busy street, with restricted roof access and welfare provisions.

We are working closely with the nearby café and other businesses, to ensure that good communication is maintained and disruption is kept to a minimum.

Working with Hutchinson’s builders, we are excited to have been appointed as the roofing replacement contractor at Wheatfields Primary School in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

This project is just the latest of recent wins in the education sector for Highview, as our delivery continues to expand.

The replacement roofing programme will be carried out over the remaining summer months, seeing circa 800m2 of flat roofing installed with a new Langley high performance Tapered insulation system.

Works also include the replacing of rooflights, soffits, facias and low & high level cladding as well as increase of upstand heights, with Langley Flame Free details being utilised in these areas.

Vivant Homes have appointed Highview to complete the phased roofing works on their new apartment complex – Park House in Slough.

6 Storeys high and comprising 48 new homes, the urban regeneration scheme is a conversion construction, from formerly commercial spaces into new residential.

With roofing works being approached as a 3-phase, 4-month programme, we will be gradually installing a Bauder flat roof insulated system to a total of 488m2 over the coming months.

This carefully phased programme will be complex in its reliance on coordination of trades, requiring us to work collaboratively with the cladding installers in order to ensure the perimeter details are finished in sequence with the specially coated trim.

Working for Tinnelly Construction, we are soon to be starting roofing works at this brand new supermarket in Herne Bay, Kent.

Installing Bauder single ply and green roof sedum blanket, we will be covering a roof area of circa 2400m2 – a fitting finish on the nearly completed retail facility.  

With a compact programme of just 4-5 weeks, we are excited to rise to the challenge and look forward to showcasing the end results in due course…

As part of a full redesign and refurbishment project being delivered by our client Engie, Mereden Court in St Albans is gaining a total roof replacement, carried out by our teams at Highview.

Our works are mobilising this week and will run as a 12 week programme, providing full Pitched and Flat roof replacements, inclusive of new guttering facia and soffits.

Covering 923m2 of roof area, we will be working hard to complete a high quality finish in time for a mid-June handover.
