We are excited to announce that we have been appointed to install roofing at the brand new, Lingfield Lodge retirement facility, in East Grinstead, Sussex.

Working with Contractors Engie, who are constructing this impressive new-build retirement living complex, we will be creating circa 2400m2 of pitched roofs using Marley Edgemere, as well as circa 460m2 of flat roofing over the main roof, terrace and multiple balconies, using Suprema. 

Our 12 week programme begins this summer and will be mobilised with careful consideration of latest covid-19 operating guidelines.

Working for Purdy on behalf of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, Highview Internals are proud to have completed a full ground floor remodelling to 1,300 sqft of this 4 storey commercial property in Barking.

Originally purposed as a science facility, containing laboratories and research spaces, our works have included full fit-out, creating new kitchens, bathrooms and offices, with full finishes including suspended ceilings. 

Despite a delay to programme caused by Covid-19, our team have worked hard to safely complete the project in around 2 months. 

Our internals team have delivered a fantastic high quality finish, which the Council can now enjoy using as their brand new offices.

In a time of pandemic shutdown, where schools are closed and the children are homeworking, our estimating teams are busy doing the same thing. 

In roofing, every year we prepare ourselves for an expectedly busy summer, working hard to replace the roofs of educational buildings, whilst the academic timetable has a 6-week break.  

Highview are highly experienced in the successful delivery of strict school roofing programmes, with a key part of this achievement being our early planning and precision programming. 

As our pre-construction operations continue from the safety of remote working, our estimators and planners are busy making the most of this opportunity to assess drawings, plan materials and schedule labour, all in early preparation for when the time comes to mobilise.

On December 7th, Highview will be starting on site in Hertfordshire at Bishop’s Stortford College. 

Running 3 schools in one, the Independent College teaches pupils from ages 4 to 18, on a large campus that caters for boarders as well as day students. With our carefully planned programme running right through the winter, we will be there until February 2020.

Appointed by Lengard, we will be replacing 1,200m2 of pitched roofing to one of the main teaching buildings, including plain tiles and associated lead works.

This week, Highview are mobilising a new residential roofing project for longstanding client, Engie. 

Replacing the flat roof on this 6 storey apartment block, at Longford Court in Hackney, we will be installing a brand new Langley Waterproofing system, just in time for Christmas. 

Our 4 week programme will mean a tight turnaround, but our experience of delivering similar projects in the local area, combined with our good working relationships with the client teams involved, should mean that the residents see minimal disruption and fast results.

Having now completed the roof renewal works at Bower Park School in Essex, Highview are proud to reveal their project success.

The roof and façade of 1809m2 of the school have been totally transformed to provide the school with a durable new system they can enjoy for many years to come.

Acting as Principle Contractor, we renewed 6 roof areas using a Bauder Total Tapered System, including 1442m2 of strip up and 367m2 of overlay as well as overseeing scaffold, cladding works and asbestos removal.

Following failure during latent defects, due to poor installation in the initial build, Quinn London have now been appointed to manage the corrective project and awarded Highview the works.

We have been appointed to strip and replace the existing 220sqm roof coverings, in preparation for installation of a brand new sedum roof.

Langley Waterproofing Systems Ltd awarded Highview with the coveted title of ‘Contractor of the Month’, for April 2019, at a presentation ceremony in Tower Hamlets this week.

This award celebrates recent project achievements by Highview and was given by Justin Saint, Area Technical Manager at Langley, who said:       

“This is for the high standard of commitment and quality of workmanship being carried out across the Tower Hamlets Framework in line with Mulalley & Company Limited and Tower Hamlets Homes, in particular the two Old Market Square projects.”
