Highview have been instructed by Shoregate Consulting to carry out a full strip of the two main tower roofs at the 18 floor Harbour Exchange Towers on the Isle of Dogs in London.

Starting on site in late September, the replacement will be with a new Bauder system, covering an area of 865m2, over a 3-month programme. 

Removal and loading will have to be conducted via the towers’ service lifts, due to the operational nature of this busy commercial facility.

Starting a 10 week programme at Bower Park Academy in Romford this week, Highview are excited to be transforming the roof and façade of 1809m2 of the school.

Acting as Principle Contractor, we are renewing 6 roof areas using a Bauder Total Tapered System, including 1442m2 of strip up and 367m2 of overlay as well as overseeing scaffold, cladding works and asbestos removal.

Working with Able Contracts for CBRE, Highview are very pleased to be mobilising this 415m2 roofing project in the heart of London’s bustling Covent Garden.

Starting on site in September, the re-roofing of these mixed-use properties will take place on Long Acre, a street lined with operational retail units, busy with pedestrians and London traffic.

Replacing natural slate tiles and completing the associated lead works, Highview will also be installing an area of Bauder flat roofing system.

Joining the team in July, Greg Williams, Commercial Director, enters Highview following a successful time at Wates.

Greg now manages all the commercial and financial aspects of all business units within the group, producing the relevant update reports to disseminate among the directors, giving clarity and advice, as well as assisting the operational team with order placements.

With 15 years of experience within the construction industry, Greg was once working as a qualified electrician, before naturally progressing into the commercial management of projects. Having worked for both Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors, Greg has extensive experience of Commercial, Residential and Education sector works.

Work has just commenced at the Queensmead Shopping Centre in Farnborough, to complete a full roof replacement using a Langley Roofing felt system.

This £175k project was awarded to us by Orchard Build and is one of many recently secured commercial flat roofing projects at Highview.

Having just been awarded this £275k project by Mulalley, Preston Park Primary School in Wembley becomes the latest in a long line of recent success for Highview within the education sector. 

Removing and replacing pitched roofing, flat roofing and also rainwater goods, this 19 week refurbishment programme will commence on site during the first week of August.

Due to start on site in July, Highview have just been awarded the repair and replacement works to pitched and flat roofing at Hampstead School in Camden, London.

Working for existing client Diamond Build, Highview will be delivering the £140k project over a 7 week programme during the summer break to avoid class disruption.

Commencing next week, Highview are proud to be delivering a 20 week programme for Mulalley for the replacement of 23 roofs across North West London.

With works including roofline replacements, pitched roof and Bauder flat roof replacements, this diverse scheme is as exciting as it is challenging and the team is really looking forward to getting started.

The school holidays for some are only just beginning, but at Highview we are busy mobilising our latest contract.

Appointed by PWA Designs to replace the flat roofing system at Gumley House Convent School in Isleworth, we will be starting the contract during the school holidays to avoid operational disruption. 

Works will include the installation of a Bauder roofing system, renewal of bespoke fascias and upgrading of Access Ladder.

Having successfully completed 800sqm of Re-roofing to 2 blocks in Tower Hamlets, Highview have now been asked by Mulalley to get to work on a further 5 blocks, as part of their Tower Hamlets contract.

Using the Langley waterproofing system, the high-quality finish of the pilot works earned Highview the waterproofing, along with installation of permanent freestanding handrails, to 3,000sqm on the additional properties over the coming months.
